I have been teaching French as a Second Language for more than 10 years in various situations, including high schools, middle schools, private schools and Alliances Françaises.
Currently, I’m working one-on-one with Canadians preparing for the French public service evaluation [a government exam] and I love it!
I have in the past offered in-person classes but currently exclusively teach online, through the Web platform Zoom as well as other online tools.
What I teach | What I don’t teach |
– classes from A1.2 to C2 (intermediate to advanced) – one-on-one classes or small group classes (8 max.) – Quebec French or European French (France, Belgium, Switzerland) – exam preparation: DELF and DALF, TCF, TEF and TEFAQ second-language evaluation for the public service. | – A0 to A1 (beginner level) – larger group classes (over 8 students) – classes for students under the age of 12 – middle school homework assistance |

WHAT ARE MY RATES?
I offer rates in both euros and Canadian dollars as my students come from both these areas of the world.
Class length can be adapted to your schedule; however, I recommend an average class time of 45 or 90 minutes so your attention is always at its best.
Canada (per hour) | Europe (per hour) | |
Classic French Class (improving your French level) | 35 CAD | 32 euros |
French for Business or University | 50 CAD | 46 euros |
Student/Group rate or package discount | on request | on request |
If these rates may seem high to you, keep in mind that they include teaching materials, preparation time and follow-up with students (scheduling lessons, platform management, etc.), and that I also need to pay taxes. On request though, I may provide discount rates.
